Jurors: Sick To Our Stomachs’ Over Not Guilty Verdict

Some of the jurors are speaking out about the trial and everything they are saying makes me sick to my stomach so it’s not shocking to hear that they are sick to their stomachs.

Juror number 3, who we have now learned is 32-year-old Jennifer Ford told the press today that she and the other jurors cried and were “sick to our stomachs” after the verdict. They couldn’t believe that they had to let this woman go but the prosecution just never proved how Caylee died and who did it. Was it a horrible accident? (TCJ: No, if it was a horrible accident she should have called 911, not covered up a murder.)

“I did not say she was innocent,” said Jennifer. “I just said there was not enough evidence. If you cannot prove what the crime was, you cannot determine what the punishment should be.”

“Everyone wonders why we didn’t speak to the media right away,” Jennifer went on. “It was because we were sick to our stomach to get that verdict. We were crying and not just the women. It was emotional and we weren’t ready. We wanted to do it with integrity and not contribute to the sensationalism of the trial.”

Of her fellow jurors Jennifer says:

“They picked a great bunch of people, such high integrity. And there was high morale,” she said. “We all joked. We are like a big group of cousins.”
