Dodger Beating Victim Bryan Stow In Pre-Beating Confrontation! [VIDEO]

So it looks like the beating that left Bryan Stow fighting for his life wasn’t the first incident he had with a Dodger fan that day. TMZ has uncovered an exclusive cell phone video that captures a confrontation between Stow and another crazy Dodger fan.

You can check out the video here:

Now the fan in this video is NOT accused suspect Giovanni Ramirez. Which doesn’t necessarily prove his innocence, it just proves that there are a LOT of a-hole Dodger fans out there.

The man has been identified as Uber-Dodger fan Juan Banda. Seen here with Dodger first baseman, Eric Karros.

Banda wisely contacted LAPD immediately after news of his confrontation with Stow broke.

Now here’s where things get interesting…

A friend of Banda’s texted him regarding the incident and Banda is reported as saying that Stow started the whole thing when he yelled out  I’d rather eat my own feces  than eat a dodger dog.'” I mean, who can blame him?  It’s not exactly calling out my name either. That being said I would prefer eating one over my own doo doo. But hey… boys will be boys?

Banda Is also quoted as saying that Stow ” did have a mouth though!” and that “Maybe he said the wrong thing to the wrong guys!”

There is a huge difference between dissing Dodger dogs and beating a man to within an inch of his life. It seems to me that what Stow was doing is the typical kind of razzing between fans that one might expect.  Even if he was being a jerk…does he really deserve to lose the life that he once knew, because of it?  Definitely interesting new details…but it doesn’t really change the fact that whatever thugs did this to him need to be put away for life.  And I think we can all agree that the security situation still needs to improve big time at Dodger stadium.

What do you think of the new details? Does it change your opinion of the case? Let’s discuss in the comments!

For everyone that’s been any sporting event, you always have one fan razzing/provoking others into some sort of confrontation. I don’t care what team/stadium/race/creed/gender/security or no security. Nobody knows what really happened except for Brian Stow. Of course his family is going to paint him as a model citizen, but look at the video and you can’t say some random Dodgers fans did all that without being provoked? Nobody is going to walk up to a complete stranger and do that. Even SF has a-hole fans! And, if you think these guys are going to be put away for life ain’t gonna happen. Murder convictions have seen men/women walk within their lifetimes. So, for this expect 20-30 maybe? It is CA, they’ll take money more than jailtime. What I’m getting at is NOBODY knows what REALLY happened, so until the truth really comes out we’ll never know. But, it is 2011 and apparently EVERYTHING is on record. Be careful with what you do

Here is an example of the kind of idiots I have to run into when I go to Dodger games. I’ve been to many dodger games with friends who happen to wear a jersey for the other team and we’ve had Dodger fans say rude things and throw food and ice cubes at us – completely unprovoked – so don’t EVEN try to tell me that you have to do anything to provoke the alcoholic criminals who go to Dodger games and call themselves “fans”. I’ve seen it first hand. Many Dodger fans are thugs and criminals who shouldn’t be out interacting with the public – gang members – horrible people – they need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and this guy Jeff is a total and complete idiot and a perfect example of the kind of mentality that lets brutal murderers like OJ Simpson walk free. Thanks Jeff for showing us what idiots think.
